Polish Eggs
One look at the Polish chicken and you will know that this chicken breed is primarily used for exhibition or show purposes. Aside from combs, their heads are adorned with a beautiful crest of feathers that truly is a sight to behold.
Unlike what their name would suggest, the Polish chicken did not originate from the country of Polands. Historical accounts, however, point to the Netherlands as their country of origin. They are a continental class that was originally and still used for egg production. The Polish chicken produces at least 2 small white eggs each week and egg production varies or is not reliable, since some chickens lay poorly while others lay well.
All in all, they are a tame breed of chicken and are known to bear confinement well.
